If we are migrating an oracle database from on-remise VM to EC2, would this create the root volume and EBS volumes for data in EC2? What about if database files are not on local disk but network storage on-premise. Do I have to copy those separately to S3 and then EBS volume?

@Valaxy Technologies @4:01 while setting up the environment variables (IAM ROLES) could you please tell from where to type such codes? the CLI is on root and your VM is off then how are you able to type and connect it?

What if you only have a ".ova" copy of your server? would it still work since its not a ".ovf" ??
