I didn't understand it as a kid why Vince would make that match over the Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin to make one of them the undisputed champion. But instead add on Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle. Out of all these years of Chris Jericho being on top and not having a shot at the big opportunity to become champion in a storyline, I understand it now. Chris Jericho deserve that shot.

This was one of the greatest storylines of all time.

It should have been Austin rock one on one with Austin going over clean to make up for that stupid heel turn at WM. but they botch it up again and have a comic heel Jericho going over for the horrible run he had with it, , Jericho should have gone over 6 months earlier as a face during his feud with HHH and Austin but they botched up there. Angle finally goes over only to be turned heel again despite being red hot during the summer. The whole invasion storyline was a year to early and should have been shelved. So much was botched in 2001.
