I avoid Minneapolis as much as possible for my safety. Until they address that it's a no go zone for me.

Minneapolis struggles because of lawlessness and violent crime but talking about that isn’t allowed.

Need to fix the police issue before you reinvest into downtown. Nobody wants to be somewhere they don’t feel safe. Minneapolis city leaders stopped caring about police long ago, thus now the city is unsafe.

Answer is easy... stop crime and people will go.
Walz and Frey need to wake up or get out.
Politicians spent $100s millions on Nicollet Mall recently. Nicollet Mall was closed for several years. Where's the payback on that project?
Property tax increases are out of control. Now politicians want to spend more.
Listen to business owners, make downtown safe and people will come.

More property tax hikes to build more colorful safe space. These ppl truly believe they can tackle crime with art and flower pots.

Drive out business with terrible policy, artificially “revitalize” with taxpayer funds

“After the pandemic”?
…that’s what burned the city down?

Thanks for the clarity.

How about revitalizing our insane asylums, people living in tents in city parks would get a year on the funny farm years ago.🙉🐵🙈

Or, spend money on making Minneapolis walkable, and not by having cars and highways litter the area, blocking off areas

Who are we kidding? Any conversion of office space into residential space would just be low income housing which would make the downtown crime stats go up even more.

Until they bring back a thriving business center to Minneapolis it makes no sense to increase the residential spaces.

Yes, make it more posh for all the wealthy people that all those condos were built for.
