New 2026 Mazda EZ-60 - Pure Electric SUV

Показать описание
The EZ-60 is a "dream car" concept developed by Changan Mazda, Mazda’s joint venture partner in China. It marks the company’s second electric vehicle, following the debut of the EZ-6 electric sedan in October last year.
The EZ-60 builds on the EZ-6 sedan—which debuted last year and is also marketed as the 6e in Europe—sporting a sleek design that closely mirrors the Arata concept showcased at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
Built on Changan’s EPA1 platform, the EZ-60 will be a sibling to the Deepal S07 crossover SUV, sharing similar specifications and powertrain options. The S07 features a 79.97 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 295 miles. With 93 kW fast-charging capability, it can charge from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes.
Given that the Deepal S07 measures 4,750 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height, Mazda’s electric SUV is expected to have similar dimensions.
The EZ-60 adopts the new design language first seen on the saloon, featuring slim LED daytime running lights positioned high on the front fascia, above more compact main-beam headlights. An LED outline frames the lower section of the grille, adding a modern touch.
Compared to the 6e, the EZ-60 has a noticeably more angular appearance, highlighted by a bold chin spoiler on the front bumper and a sharply defined shoulder line.
While the interior hasn’t been unveiled yet—it’s set to debut at the Shanghai Motor Show later this month—it’s expected to take cues from the 6e, including a large, centrally mounted infotainment touchscreen and sporty bucket-style front seats.
Mazda has not yet confirmed whether the EZ-60 will be offered in the UK, but its arrival could provide a significant boost to the brand’s electric vehicle sales—especially in one of the market’s most in-demand segments. Earlier this year, Mazda did confirm plans to launch the saloon version in the UK.
