Ike Turner was a very gifted musician but never got the credit he deserved due to marital problems in his life. Ike was pure R & B in it's infancy and helped to develop the genre with Big Joe Turner, , Little Richard, Louis Jordan etc. Rocket 88 is a Classic.

That's not Ike Turner. That is the Version of Jackie Brenston, recorded 1951 by Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats. As I know, Ike Turner had nothing to do with this Song outside of Youtube. Maybe he did sing the song live in a Concert.
