Here's a quick edit to celebrate the new episode and to write down my indefinite hiatus note ( ● ˘ ᵕ ˘ ) I may or may not have watched the episode 3 times by now (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
Before I get distracted let's get to the gist of the matter, I'm going on an indefinite hiatus. I've already spoken to a few of my studios about this over the course of the past few months, but now I'm officially announcing it.

Apparently I'm NOT switching to a new laptop, I'm going to have two and use two simultaneously (I wonder how that is going to work out @v@ ;; ) So I'm going to continue to use Sony Vegas along with my current laptop for editing. I will learn AE but on my own time. I will not leave SV anytime soon. The hiatus still applies though, I just won't be as inactive as I thought I'd become o//o ;; (I just found out today welp!! ;; I need to tell all of my studio leaders T///T ;;; )

The first reason is because sometime next month I'm switching from a PC to a Mac. AKA I won't be able to use Sony Vegas anymore. So I need some time to learn how to use After Effects and know it well enough to create decent mep part. Not to mention I'm planning on learning Illustrator, Photoshop, (maybe) Sai, and a drawing tablet simultaneously. If anybody has any tips for any of these programs please help a newbie out ;W; It makes me kind of sad to leave Sony Vegas behind but also a bit excited!! (´,,･ω･,,｀) I'll finish up the mep parts I have due this month and leave next month free for me to edit one or two more personal edits before I completely switch to a Mac.
In order to balance school and editing I decided a while ago to create a quota. I only join meps with songs and themes I enjoy and can carry out. On top of that I put a limit on the amount of meps I can join a month. During my senior year of high school that quota was 4 mep parts a month, no more no less, with the exception of birthday meps. I tried to divide these 4 mep parts between all of my studios so I would be active in them equally. Now that I'm heading into university (!!!) I need some time to stop editing and settle into the life of a poor art student. (¡¡¡)(This is a sad exclamation mark by the way //no not really kicks!//) I'll drop mep parts for a while to recalculate and figure out how much free time I have and create a new quota! c: Honestly I'm pretty unsure about whether the quota will increase or decrease, mainly because my parents and psychologist want me to lessen my course load (and thus become a part-time student) due to health issues. In August I may have to attend a transition week at school for students with disabilities too. I'm not so sure about whether I want to go through that or not, but its not really my decision so let's see what happens o3o (People treat you differently once you get another disability added to your health record QwQ)
Also due to circumstances I'll be working part-time. I always thought working part-time would be a great experience, but now it's not really a choice. If possible I'm going to see if I can get my parents to let me become a part-time student during my second year and take on a full-time job. I want my family to have some kind of income at least ; v ; Hopefully there's some kind of employment for somebody like me ;u;
If any of my studios are not okay with my indefinite hiatus then please feel free to kick me out (tell me before you do though!) I don't want to be a burden to any of my studios and if you don't want to wait for me that's 100% okay and understandable!! (▰˘◡˘▰)
In other news, this year I hope to open up commissions too! It'll take me a while to convince my parents to let me open a Paypal account and accept money from others online, but it's something I've always wanted to do. I'm not sure if there's an interest in it though ;/////;
