My guess is that NIntendo is working on major projects behind the scenes, and we have ZERO idea of what these projects are. We won't know until Nintendo tells us. Who knows, they might be branching out in a completely different direction than what we have seen in the past. We just need to be patient and wait. Very difficult lesson for us, but oh well.

People in despair about third party games is ridiculous. Remember Wii U not having jack? Remember being worried about third parties not supporting Switch?

There’s still talk about a July or August Direct too. Since they’re going to be at Gamescom, it makes no sense sense to not have a mainline Direct around or before Gamescom. Too big of an expense to have a booth at Gamescom without any announced first party games. So if June is a partner showcase, expect a mainline Direct in July or August.
