My Story: Charet — Heinz College MSHCA Program

Growing up, Charet saw firsthand the challenges her parents faced with health care equity and access. "I think seeing all of that really taught me that we have to go outside the system. It's important to improve care, but I think it's so much more about policy," she said. She enjoyed the breadth and diversity of classes in the program as well as the compassion of her classmates and faculty.
