So many reviews drool over this movie, I was beginning to think I was the only person on the planet who thinks it's absolutely dire! Man, it's bad. Wooden acting and a phone book script with plot holes like craters. There were no redeeming aspects and, sad to say, the worse aspect of all was Daniel Craig. Pre-Bond he was such a good actor, but now he's just wooden and camp (and not in a good way). I thought the first Knives Out a 7 out of 10. This pile of 💩 barely makes it above zero. This series is supposed be rebooting the Agatha Christie-style murder mysteries. Unfortunately, it misses by a mile because Christie was a genius and whoever wrote this is not. Blanc is no Poirot or Marple.

I just watched this movie and I was so confused. Did the billionaire guy know that Andi had a twin sister?…if so how did no one else in the friend group know about Andi’s twin? Also, the Duke character trying to “blackmail” the Billionaire guy did not make sense. So Duke gets a google alert that says Andi is dead, but to his knowledge she is standing right in front of him…..but instead of asking Andi “what the hell is going on? I just got a google alert that says you’re dead”. Duke thinks he can use this info to blackmail the Billionaire guy because he saw him leaving Andi’s house before they came to the island. But Duke doesn’t know that Andi has a twin and again, for all he knows she is standing right in front of him, so why would he think that the billionaire guy murdered her??? Also why would Miles invite Andi to the island to begin with if he was planning to kill her!!!?? Seriously if Miles didn’t send that box to Andi’s house after he killed her, this whole plot wouldn’t exist. I just don’t understand how such a glaring plot hole made it into the script.

The most interesting character in the movie was Peg- played by Jessica Henwick. She's a character who is just used to being treated badly. She gets the crappy red solo cup when everyone else gets a nice cocktail glass. You can see how her face lights up when she is handed the bottle of kombucha. Glass Onion really isn't a great movie, it feels like a straight to DVD non-canonical sequel after Knive's Out- like Disney made with their straight to DVD animated movie sequels. It isn't really all that funny and the mystery really isn't all that good.

One of the worst movies, ever! Daniel Craig is the luckiest man alive to have been chosen to be James Bond. This movie shows what a bad actor he really is. Kate Hudson has a face that you want to punch! She is even worse than her mother who was one of the worst actresses ever. I can’t believe that this movie was ever made!!!

The previous movie was not underwhelming, it was actually quite good. This led me to look forward to this movie. But it turned out to be a total waste of time. I became sleepy after the first hour and took a nap because nothing was happening. The characters as he says were one note. I get it I'm not supposed to like them, but I don't want to watch them either. After waking up and having dinner I thought let's finish this thing because I've already invested an hour. It wasn't because I enjoyed the first hour. The second hour was only slightly more engaging, largely because things actually started to happen. These things weren't actually that interesting but at least we were being propelled in a Direction. A lot of times when you watch a bad movie you think what could have been changed to make it better. I'm not convinced that any amount of changing could have fixed this movie. The one change I can think of is, throw out the script and start over. I went to Rotten Tomatoes after watching the movie and couldn't believe that it's score was in the 90's. Maybe it's getting good karma after the original movie? Or maybe people think that portraying rich people is evil and annoying is inherently entertaining? I don't get it

Rian ruined Star Wars then ruined his own franchise. Great job, pal.

The mere fact that "Glass Onion: Ending Explained" videos exist just goes to show how stupid the average netflix viewer is.

The new cast ist boring
Theyre dialogue is just to make them look like that they couldve been the murderer but after my second watch it is just that
Beside that nothing really interesting about theyre character except for birdie and peg.

Oh and helen in the end felt like a modern strong independent women character who solve problem by being a lunatic bitc and destroy the mona lisa?
Unforgivable it may miles stuff that make the mess
But helen the one purposefully destroy the mona lisa
And she says “you will be remembered as the one who destroy mona lisa” no bitc you are.
Destroying the mansion with klear is already enough

This movie has been written by kids without supervision that had no clue what made the first one borderline masterpiece. So lazy and yet uncomfortably flamboyant.
PS: just realized it has the same director. wtf.

This is the same problem She Hulk apparently had--I wouldn't know I didn't watch it. A movie thinks that if it makes the statement of what the audience is thinking that that excuses the film. Same with The Matrix Revolutions. Someone said that the movie was deliberately made bad because it was a statement being made about reboots and soulless sequels. That fact doesn't make the experience more enjoyable.
The detective makes the statement, "No, this whole thing is just dumb!"
Yes it is. The acting is horrible. Shoe-horning Black people in the film when they clearly don't belong is annoying, the dialogue is annoying, the premise.

Did anyone else notice the obvious political overtones? You can tell the people who made this are, themselves, doing their best to toe the line of their ideology and it spills over into the movie.

Like, the actors and producers who made it don’t know people in the real world and they just assume everyone has their same ideology when it’s actually the vast minority. Super disappointing.
