MWGF 2024 Theme: "Women and Nation Building - The Foundation for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion”.

Nation Builders work and actions shape the direction and development of the country - encompassing governance, politics, education, business, healthcare, diplomacy, defence, art and culture and more.

MWGF 2024 - Women & Nation Building, aims to connect these dots and address fundamental gaps, misperceptions, opportunities and fulcrums that are essential to increase female equity in Nation Building - and in tandem guarantee that the voices and needs of 50% of the country's population are equitably represented.

Brought to you by the United Nations and UNFPA Malaysia, this 4th edition of the forum is set to run from 8.30am to 4.30pm featuring speakers from the Malaysian government, academia and civil society.

As Malaysia rapidly advances towards realising the 2030 SDGs, it’s imperative to actionably address women's socioeconomic parity and representation, while understanding that closing this gap ensures no one is left behind in the pursuit of progress, particularly women & girls.

The core principles of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) can only become tangible if women's contributions and representation in nation building are recognised, established and realised - in all aspects of national development.
This in-person event will also be streamed live for all via Facebook & Youtube with sign language interpretation for full accessibility.
