I am not being funny, but Fixodent fixative is insane! I am new to dentures, and I struggle to get my upper dentures out of my mouth, this fixative is that strong. I only use three small spots one on each side, and one in the middle, and the seal is unbelievable. The only thing stronger that Fixodent, is no more nails!

I thought I was never going to get them out.I use YouTube videos a lot, so I was so glad I found this one. I warmed up the water in the microwave. The first time I tried it didn't work, and I tried again and it worked ! Now I can go to bed !

Actually my dentist says take the 2 fingers grab from the back side releases the suction and for new denture wearers keeps from rubbing sore spots worked for me still do it

The best way I have found is use DRY paper towels or kliness waded into a ball, NOT ROLLED but waded so it has a lot of creases and crevises and kinda use a rolling motion with it up in the roof of my mouth.

Pinch hold what I can between Paper and it helps get it the sticky plastic glue off the roof of my mouth and my gums.

I also found that drinking really cold water or rincing with real cold water seems to make the glue a little firmer/ harder and it mdoesnt streatch as much when trying to remove it.


Hot water seems to make the glue streatch more and harder to get off for me.

I found the dryer the paper is that I use the better it works rolling against the sticky stuff the better it sticks to the paper towel or napkin etc.
It does take a few times and a few towels/ pieces of paper towls not the whole sheet but maybe about 1/4 to 1/2 a sheet at a time.to get it but its the best way I have found.

Don’t use this method to remove adhesive using a brush takes very long and you risk scratching the roof of your mouth. Use dry wash clothes and wipe the adhesive off. Much easier and gentle on gums and roof of mouth

I had a simple bridge consisting of 3 teeth.
Which served me well for 20 years with no problems whatsoever. Due to financial constraints my only option was dentures to replace the now broken bridge. If I ever get my hands the guy who invented dentures. And sold them as a clever idea, he's going to need a full new set himself

My dentist told me NOT to use toothpaste on the partial dentures, but ordinary hand soap in bar or liquid form. Toothpaste is too abrasive, he said.
