Viomi V3 vs Roborock S5 Max Comparison

A detailed comparison between the Viomi V3 and the Roborock S5 Max.

Even if both products have Xiaomi roots, these are two different products as you'll see in the video.

The Viomi V3 and the Robrock S5 Max are two-in-one hybrid robots that can vacuum and mop. But the V3 is better than the S5 Max because has the option to mop in short back and forth movements similar to an iRobot Braava.

The S5 Max doesn't have this option and only goes in straight lines.

However, the S5 Max is better than the V3 in all other aspects. It cleans better on hard floors and carpets, runs longer, and is more thorough - capable of going around up to three times.

The V3 can only do the run twice.

I enjoyed your comparison video. I do think the Viomi is a better choice when you want a robot that can mop the best.

Still they could learn from roborocks user interface as it is more mature.

Nice comparison review!
It helped me a lot! Going for s6 Max, because off the better app and better vacuum results in multiple surfaces. Though, I love the Y mopping feature from the VIOMI!

option no mop zone is very useful for carpet area . when you vacuum only it will go to no mop zone area

is there a problem with the water dripping from the viomi v3 tank? Older models flooded and flooded the vacuum cleaner and broke it. And the bins fit v3 and older models.

Does the Viomi V3 leave water streaks after mopping? I have very glossy black porcelain tiled floors. Water streaks and watermarks are a bloody horror lol
