That snow sound thing is pretty consistent with anyone who grew up with snow. That sub -40 sound is magical

Unbelievable GOAT! He's the best at survival; no one comes close. He does it all by himself - no crew in the background, no team of researchers, no artificial environment. He has probably saved thousands of lives, who learn from his YouTube channel.

I remember the first video I saw of Luke. He was hiking to a remote cabin up in the Alaskan mountains, and I thought " What is this man doing? He is so ill prepared, he will die." I've watched all his videos since and have learned so much.

He's right.
Growing up in northern Michigan in the lower Peninsula, it's funny, cuz. It's almost 0° today. 😂😉♥️💪🏼💯

Being born in the nordics, I didn't even think about that people might not know snow sounds different in various temperatures.
You can also gauge the temperature by just looking outside, there is a difference between above and below freezing, and something -20c has a crisp look to it. Well, then again, it's often cloudy when it's at +5 - -5, and typically clear skies at say -20.

It seems odd, but I moved to the French alps 13 years ago and it's very true. Super cold snow squeaks. I also can tell if there are days of serious cold, then we come back up to 1 or 2 celsius and there is a tiny bit of rain, then it drops again - my road is gonna be an ice rink. its fascinating skill. Love this guy.

I love the outdoor boys especially when the whole family and friends camp out too.

I think Tom’ solo fire was fine. Maybe he smothered it a little bit and got frustrated but he’ll learn. He did a great job. I’ll be checking out Outdoor Tom now to enjoy his progression.
