I thought my dog had a foreign body. Took him to the vet. $600 later they had done anesthetia, an endoscopy, cortisone shot, nasal scope, sinus flush, full ENT and general exam. He is still coughing a week later.. I think he caught Kennell cough. It was very expensive but I guess better safe than sorry

I don't know if that's what my dog has because I can't afford the vet right now. But I've been giving him chicken noodle soup and the honey on a spoon and that helps. He doesn't cough sometimes all day. But he hasn't been in any kennels or boarding facilities or dog parks. He will get it sometimes after drinking water, or when sleeping he wakes up and does it. Or if he eats to fast. Or when I walk him around.

My little four Pond chihuahua has kennel cough and it scares me so bad the doctor said that her heart sounds good her lungs sound good they gave her antibiotics and a decongestant and I give her raw honey and she seems to be doing a little better she's been on her therapy for about 2 weeks now and I think honestly she may have a little bit of a collapsed trachea so I'm going to have x-rays done soon and I just want to be sure that I'm getting her the best medical treatment that money can buy because she is my angel she's going to be 11 years old on November 11th 2024 and 1111 has always been considered a good number she is an angel I pray to Jesus that he puts his hands on her and heals her and I hope that God protects her when I'm away from the home and I Love My Chihuahua so much I'll be with her till the very very end and I'll meet her at the Rainbow Bridge just writing this makes me want to cry my eyes out but I have to be strong❤❤❤
