Can't find the perfect font for your project? Then just create it! "Project Faces" is a whole new way to think about tweaking, adapting, and creating fonts that perfectly reflect your message. This technology preview isn't in the Creative Cloud yet...but making your own font face in minutes may be reality sooner than later. This sneak is presented by Lee Brimelow, and our show was hosted by Nick Offerman (!). he was hilarious but some of his commentary is for mature audiences. #ProjectFaces

It's been 7 years since this presentation and I think Project Faces still remains one of the top 3 Adobe Max sneak peek projects of all time, and I keep asking why Adobe never published the app or implemented it in InDesign or Illustrator. It's such a shame.

"Maybe for certain projects you want something completely customized." No, for EVERY project we want something customized! Thank you Adobe for Finally making the software we have been so hungry for. This looks great.

This one is seriously impressive. Definitely the star of the show. Well done to the team behind it.

I literally watched this four times just to wrap my mind around it. This needs to be available NOW - typography nerds new favorite tool!

Back in the old days (I'm talking about around '98) there was a program called Ares Font Chameleon. Adobe bought it and discontinued it. It did exactly this and more. You could take two fonts and morph them into another. So yeah, looks cool but the only new thing about it is that it now runs on an iPad.

Now this is pretty fantastic. I'd use it for sure. I'm no fontician (yet), so I wonder why the "G" isn't included when the Crossbar slider is used. Anyone know?

This is really cool. Are there any predictions of when it might appear on market?

I have 12829 fonts on my system and will never have to sift through the rubbish ever again to get that perfect one for a design. Only custom fonts from now on, baby!

Wouldn't an increase in contrast (sliding the slider to the "more" position) make the difference between thick and thin greater? (In essence, the opposite of what is happening in the demo)
