Wonderful looking tanks and corals - really neat to see snails spawning - i would imagine the corals get some nice snacks

Hey, free coral food! : ) I guess that is a good sign that your snails are turning your tanks in to a love shack. Colors look great Dmitry!

My trocus have spawned many times and i now have quite a few baby trocus. It all started when i accidentally left lights on all night.

Had the very same thing friday morning mass spawning, black footed trocus

Free coral food, and hopefully some free snails if they survive the fish. If stuff is spawning, your tank conditions are on point.

My trochus snails do this time to time. I did panic because I thought my tank got overdosed on kalkwasser as it was so cloudy. One time I ended up with one baby snail, the other time I ended up with 60 baby snails. I try to shut off filtration when I notice it to get some free clean up crew members.

Your fine happens a lot in my tank with multiple species of snails. You’ll get free coral food and lots of new snails eventually in the tanks.

You're corals will be just fine. I have an all Acropora system as well and my snails do this all the time. I have never had any issues with the corals reacting negatively to the event.
I have noticed that it seems to happen more often when I'm dosing heavily on trace elements and when magnesium is up. I like to run my mag at 1500 or so. I don't measure it that often, but I keep an eye on the Trident to make sure it's in that range.
Everything looks fantastic and I really enjoy the videos.

I literally just posted about my issues with cloudy water on R2R last night. I also run a 40w uv sterilizer that has not been having any noticeable effect on the issue. My final thought was that I need to load up on much more biospheres for bacteria surface area. I also run bare bottom which is probably contributing to the problem. After watching this video it has given me something to watch for as I do have 4 fairly large turbo snails also but have not witnessed any spawning. Appreciate the video.

Just free snail plankton for your filter feeders. I did have some kind of worm(?) spawn from its hole/tunnel in live rock many years ago and the next thing I knew there were spawning tunnels over several areas of my rock. No idea what exactly the spawning creatures were but they somehow synchronized the event and I never did anything different in my routine. Need someone with David Attenborough/Jacque Cousteau impersonation to do the voice over…🤪

I think that it is a good thing. I agree with some other comments when they say that it is free coral food. Also I would imagine that any excess would be removed by your skimmer.👍🏾

Had the same thing happen maybe two months ago, looked cool just didn't want to put my arm in it lol.

Corals do look amazing
Do you think the frags moving effects growth? I remember on a tour of WWC they said they started attaching frags to rocks because they tend to grow faster and I think they said it was because the stable base is better than the plugs moving - but I guess it could be the surface they attach too (and I have heard baby corals prefer settle where there is a certain surface (maybe bacteria or something)
