Great job explaining how to prune. It's April here and we have had a long winter in NE Oregon. Really looking forward to getting out in the garden. Too late this year, but I can clean up a few dead limbs. Plants have only been in the ground 5 years but producing really well. Thanks again.

Great vid Rob. Thanks for providing links yo relevant vids in the description.
At first when I read that 3-4 year old canes produce most of the berries, I thought about what I’ve also heard: that berries are produced on 1 year old growth. But these are consistent statements: the 1 year old branches are extensions from the canes (or their branches, etc.).

We’re on the Canadian east coast, would we stunt our production for the year if I were to prune them now ?
