In this video, I am going to show you something about Windows 10 most don't know... You can do a native install of Hyper V in Windows 10 to run your own Virtual Machines... That is right, no need for 3rd party applications any more.

This video shows you where to go to install the Hyper V application and service, then how to setup a virtual switch for your VM's, then how to create a VM... This was all done on one of my lab machines but works the same either way.

Hope this helps a lot of you admins and trouble shooters out that still don't know much about Windows 10. Also for home users that want to setup their own lab.

We are in no way shape or form associated with Microsoft nor the development or distribution of any of their products. We highly recommend Hyper V because it works, it is a Microsoft product so not much for compatibility issues, and it is part of the Windows 10 OS.

If you know anyone who may benefit from these videos by all means feel free to direct them to my videos or channel. SUBSCRIBE if you would like to keep up with the latest videos and as always WATCH, LIKE, and SHARE, and have a good day.

this is on the US version of Windows 10 Pro, this may be different for other countries and if it was an upgrade from Windows 7 or 8... this was a cab install and at that is a UEFI install of Windows 10 on a system with virtualization enabled... not all cpinter versions and not all installs will have the option.
