A dry block wall you wet the wall before you plaster it or it dries too quick and makes it brittle anytime you put cement over cement it the dry cement need to be wet before you put wet concrete on it

Hi Kirk, thank you for all your videos! I’m up in Canada and have started parging homes foundations. I’m having troubles with my parging cracking on me. Here’s my process I use - I pressure wash the foundation using 4000psi. I mix sacrete parging mix in a pail with a paddle mixer then begin to apply my coat at about 3/8’s thickness. The temperature outside is 64 degrees and sunlight on my work at times as it passes by throughout the day. I constantly hydrate with a fine mist as it cures. I’ve noticed lots of air bubbles after applying the parging which seems to be where I’m getting cracks. Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong? Thanks eh.

U should mention something about the additive you have obviously added to the mud otherwise it should be 40 degrees and rising to allow the reaction to start
