Look, I know it doesn't make sense that Odin gets strength over fucking Zeus, but he does. I don't make the rules.
And this is like the 5th time I've done these matchups cus the verdict keeps changing.

According to gow novel
Old kratos >Young kratos
Baldur, Thor and Odin> Zeus
And I think Odin>Kratos because Odin defeated Kratos and Atreus by himself.

In my opinion, it seems that various gods from different cultures share similarities; while they may bear different names, their stories often exhibit striking resemblances.
One example often cited is the story of a " myth" that exists in various cultures. The most well-known version is the story of Noah's Ark from the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), where a global flood occurs and a righteous person (Noah) is chosen to build an ark to save life. A similar story is found in the ancient Sumerian epic of Gilgamesh, in Hindu texts like the Matsya Purana, and in other cultures as well.
Indra (Hinduism) and Zeus (Greek Mythology):

Both are considered king of the gods.
Indra is associated with thunder, rain, and warfare in Hinduism.
Zeus, in Greek mythology, is the ruler of the sky and wielder of lightning bolts.
Saraswati (Hinduism) and Athena (Greek Mythology):

Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and wisdom.
Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, courage, and inspiration, often associated with art and learning.
Varuna (Hinduism) and Uranus (Greek Mythology):

Varuna is a deity associated with cosmic order, water, and sky in Hinduism.
Uranus, in Greek mythology, is the personification of the sky and the father of the Titans.
Yama (Hinduism) and Hades (Greek Mythology):

Yama is the god of death, justice, and the afterlife in Hinduism.
Hades, in Greek mythology, rules the underworld and is associated with death and the afterlife.
Rama (Hinduism) and Perseus (Greek Mythology):

Rama is an avatar of the god Vishnu, known for his heroic deeds in the Ramayana.
Perseus, in Greek mythology, is a hero known for slaying monsters and completing daring quests.
Lord Vishnu (Hinduism) and Osiris (Ancient Egyptian Mythology):

Resurrection and Afterlife: Both Lord Vishnu and Osiris are associated with themes of resurrection, renewal, and the afterlife.

Lord Vishnu is one of the principal deities in Hinduism, often portrayed as restoring cosmic order and balance by incarnating in various forms (avatars).
Osiris, in Egyptian mythology, is a god of life, death, and fertility. He is known for being murdered and later resurrected by his wife, Isis, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life and death.
Judgment of Souls: Both deities are connected to the judgment of souls in the afterlife.

In Hinduism, Lord Vishnu is often depicted as presiding over the ultimate judgment of souls in his form as Lord Krishna.
In Egyptian belief, Osiris plays a role in judging the souls of the deceased in the Hall of Ma'at during the afterlife journey.
Symbolism of Kingship and Renewal: Both Vishnu and Osiris are symbolic of kingship and the renewal of life.

Lord Vishnu's incarnations (avatars) often include rulers and kings, emphasizing the divine aspect of leadership.
Osiris was associated with kingship and pharaohs in ancient Egypt. His resurrection symbolized the renewal of life and the divine right of rulers.
Cultural Significance: Both deities hold profound cultural significance and are revered in their respective civilizations.

Lord Vishnu is worshipped as a protector and preserver in Hinduism, with numerous temples dedicated to him across India and beyond.
Osiris was a central figure in Egyptian mythology and rituals, tied to concepts of death, rebirth, and the agricultural cycle.
It is just my opinion

Explaining why odin gets strength: odin is a full Aesir god in terms of genes & Thor is half Aesir Half Giant in genes. So Odin genetically has more strength & Thor was able to have =< strength to a not holding back kratos & odin overpowered a not holding back kratos aswell.

Also. Freya said “The Tree of Life is bound to the fate of the world, just as we are bound to it. The tree nourishes our soils. The dew from its leaves feeds our valleys and rivers. The tree's very existence supports all of creation among its boughs, its life energy interwoven into the tapestry of life... birth, growth, death, and rebirth... every strand, transcending time, transcending space. Everything comes back to the tree.” Thor & The serpents clash splintered the tree of life (splintered definition: break or cause to break into small sharp fragments.) & break or cause to break into small sharp fragments) so they broke the tree which holds creation, And Odin is stronger than Thor. So Odin gets strength

Well, in general, in the Greek pantheon, all the gods are just strongmen, the bosses of the rocking chair, they hope for strength and mots, and even their magic is exclusively for inflicting damage and for strength. The Scandinavian pantheon, on the other hand, relies more on magic and strategy, yet I think strength is better than defense

In GOW version I think:
Experience is Equal
Strength, feats and weapons (Blade of Olympus) goes to Zeus
Power and attack potency goes to Odin
