I’ve found that if a kitten is acting up (clawing or biting your hands) if you say “HEY” very stern, and snap close to them, they’ll normally back away for a bit and try to cool off. But also timeouts have been working pretty well too👍🏻

Disciplining right away is the only way to do it for any species. Especially Humans. Also, the water thing doesn't work on all cats. All of mine like water and have even asked to be sprayed. I always get the especially weird ones...

I've found that just telling her "NO" and giving her the silent treatment immediately after bad behavior, since she was 8 weeks old, has turned her into a very nice, respectful and friendly 5 year old cat.

My cat is so mean, when I try to stop him with a loud sound he gets really aggressive and the same goes for spray bottles. He even talks back like fr, when I scold him he just makes these noises like mumbling.

Cats are not like dogs. They don't understand discipline the same. Water spray works well to chase them away from something. When one of my cats bullies another I give them a tap on the nose with my finger and have a stern tone of voice. They seem to understand that
