Simple and straight forward repair for my 2008 RX400h. Used a TX30 for the 2 screws. Fixed the intermittent on/off problem we were having with the button. Picked one up for under $20 on Amazon. Thank you!!!

You are Awesome Jungle Explorer. I’ve replaced my Cruise Control part on my 2011 Toyota Sienna successfully. The old one stopped working after 110K miles - I’ve used the CC even for 30 minutes city highway drives as well - not sure if that was considered over usage. Thank you so much for saving ~300$ and also I had a fun experience with my 16 years old son while replacing this 🙂

Always hand start your screws before using a power tool on them!😎

Once you have plugged in the new switch, is it safe to hook up the battery and test to see if the cruise control light comes on?

I have a 2002 Toyota Rav4. I'm able to turn on cruise control but it only blinks when I try to set it. I replaced the brake light switch but it didn't fix it. Any idea what it could be?
