So happy to see a notification that you've uploaded. I'm away at the moment but will be home next week. I think I'm going to rewatch everything. There's just something comforting about it. Almost like someone saying to me "yea, things are tough. You're not on your own. We're going to make it". Not in a 'power motivation' kinda way like some obnoxious personal trainer, but just in a basic human way that's hard to find.
Anyway, I'm saving this as a treat for myself when I get back.

I've just watched. I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling. I can't begin to imagine what not seeing your kids is like. Just the thought of it makes me feel pain.
I think you'd be surprised about dating. One thing I do know is that a lot of women think differently to most men and they're not as materialistic, so I think think that the van thing might be less of an issue than you think. I put myself in the shoes of a single woman around 40 and meeting a guy with a van to go on adventures on might be a perfect thing. She brings the house, you bring the van. What a combo! I don't think thay speed dating might be such a good idea. I suspect that your qualities would show through more on a longer meeting, so maybe try Match, POF etc and arrange to go for a drink in a cosy pub for the first thing... when you do meet, try to be positive and excited about the home on wheels you've built. It's an incredible achievement you should be proud of and painting that picture and all the possibilities it brings will be far more successful than putting your situation down. Maybe even tell her about your channel.
Anyway my friend, it was great to see you. You've got such a therapeutic voice and manner.

I was always grateful that you had skipped over the ablution side of things, although the absence of a shower and crapper from the van build vids told its own story.

But now the veil has been pierced.

PS I hope the bag is at least a Sainsbury's bag.
