Thank you ! The only video that made sense for this . I only using the optical, and that worked but the remote didn’t connect to the soundbar. So it was the HDMI arc that sync the magic remote.

For Optical connection, after pairing the Sound Bar. Press the 3 dotted button and select 'sound bar' to Power on/off

Its terrible.... Bose don't work with lg sound sync.... So sad
Bose have so great sound and so terrible compatibility)

Sorry but not helpful because you do not show us what to do if you are connected via Optical cable.
