The point is made that your brain is up against a supercomputer, but I have found that only a small amount of mindfulness and reflection and subsequently selecting "not interested" or "don't recommend" (both on YouTube and Instagram) has really helped keep my feeds well balanced, interesting, but basically underwhelming enough to avoid being sucked into a rabbit hole of auto-play or endless scrolling.

The tools are there, and they are reasonably effective. People just need to learn to and decide to use them.

The only content that makes sense is the music of the 80s or any type of music, it´s joyful and rhythmic, and no matter how long you listen, it doesn't make you bored or depressed but inspires you. It's not polarised content.
Music also helps people with brain injury or memory loss, to get back on track.
