Learn European Portuguese Through Story

Train your ear to listen to fast spoken Portuguese. Learn Portuguese through Stories. In this video I'm reading a short story in the present tense. Learn which sounds can disappear in everyday speech. Red represents possible suppressed syllables or letters and green represents where links in the sentence may occur. Some of these suppressions can vary depending on the speed of the speech and local accent. These videos are examples of fast, colloquial and most of the time informal speech. They are meant to be demonstrations of Algarvian Portuguese. Please note that the resulting "linked" words in this video are not the way they would ever be written. Also important is that they can be different or not so intense according to accent, level of formality and speed.
