Northeastern states including Nagaland are likely to experience maximum temperatures above normal, ranging from 4-6°Celsius, during the next 2 days, according to Indian Meteorological Department. However, IMD also predicted rainfall activity in the region on June 1. Meanwhile, according to the IMD Global Forecast System (GFS) weather forecast issued on May 31, temperatures in Dimapur are likely to reach a maximum of 37°C and a minimum of 24°C for the next seven days
