I like to imagine that alien visitors in real life sometimes watch Earth media just to monitor how human culture is developing with technology, and upon seeing a clip like this, where fictional human soldiers imbued with power are being glorified and treated as cool heroes for hunting their people, they would first think of it as racist and offensive. Later on, when they saw that the aliens were innocent and trying to reclaim what’s rightfully theirs, and these people were misguided and later corrected, they would feel like the show is brilliant for the message it sends.
