Classic Week at Christie’s London 💫

This summer, #ClassicWeek returns to London with six live auctions of extraordinary art and objects. Discover masterworks, including Quentin Metsys’ rediscovered The Madonna of the Cherries, Titian’s Rest on the Flight to Egypt, George Stubbs’ Mares and Foals in an extensive landscape and Frans Hals’ Portrait of a gentleman of the de Wolff family, all to be offered in the Old Masters Part I sale on 2 July.

Additional highlights include Pelé’s 1962 FIFA World Cup winner’s medal, Giulio Campagnola and Domenico Campagnola’s charming ‘Shepherds in a Landscape’ from The Collection of Sam Josefowitz, a complete First Edition of Francisco Goya’s Los Caprichos and a pair of magnificent English table globes.
