I learn so much between you, russ, professor g, and divenology.

Been dividend investing for little over 2 years, and am happy to have just made an average of 75 pm. Definitely daunting a first but the longer you dca in a solid company with good foundations the more reward as I am just starting to see some company's buy me more shares for free with I turn equals more free dividends

Almost a year Ryne, and I keep investing since that time every single week. Discipline + time = success 🙏🏻💰.

I just recently turned 18 and I think the reason I’m afraid to start investing is because I don’t know how taxes work. Is there a video that Ryne already done on taxes from investments?

I’ve been investing for three years now (and I’m 40) just wish I had started younger ;-) Luckily I’m able to invest between 2-4 grand a month so that’s helping the snowball grow pretty quickly.

I dabbled in investing 30 years ago. My portfolio dropped 25k... I got my money back and got out. Stayed out until a few years ago except for owning real estate. Recently, switched to all cash in CD's and high dividend accounts.
Recently purchases:
O, ABBV, OXY, BSM, and
MAIN - Price 39.72 yield-6.9% $0.225 monthly
ex-div June 7 PE -12
Share price dropped over 6% in the past month
No guarantees...but I think this is looking great to buy slowly. What do you think?

I bought $1200 worth of JNJ stock in 2003. Almost 20 years later, that first JNJ trounce now is about $6, 400 (with DRIP) with yield on cost: 16.11%. The power of interest compounding.

I started taking investing seriously this year (January)
So I’m still a newbie
But I’m in it for the long haul
As I have three portfolios
And reinvest all dividends back into the market

Warren Buffet said that diversification is for people that don't know what they're doing, my question is: what about a portfolio based on: 25% SCHD, 15% LOW, 10% O, 10% JNJ, 10% P&G, 10% JPM, , 10% VISA, 10% TGT

I've been investing since Feb '22. It's been a wild ride haha. Thank you for your channel and the cool community you have gathered. Have you looked in to "The Income Factory" by Steven Bavaria? He has an interesting take on high yielders.

I have been investing on and off for 20+ years. But I have been serious about it for only the last two -- no more selling stock to buy real estate, cars, or expensive toys.
