What type of gas? Does it require two-stroke oil?

A few things I noticed that is different from what I read from manuals. For the choke, you switched it back rather quickly, does this matter? Also, you said to switch the fuel valve back to on for the next time you want to start it. Shouldn’t it be left off/closed while not in use?

When it said fast, thought maybe a way to get it going quicker afer carb is drained. takes about 6 or so pulls to get the prime going again.

if you turn the knob right above the off position it will run until the carb is dry.

I don't think you should leave the ON-OFF switch in the ON position during storage. Leave it in the OFF position until you need the genny next time.

I can’t get my generator to start. I’ve had the carb off, it was remarkably clean but I soaked it in kerosene anyway. When I go to start, have pulled the cord hundreds of times. It may have a few seconds where it “runs” for 10 rpm then it dies. I’ve resorted to starter fluid sprayed in to spark plug and the breather. Any ideas? Anyone?
