Kleine zwanen op de Wijde Aa/Bewick's swans on the Wijde Aa

Kleine zwanen brengen de nacht door in een wak in de Wijde Aa bij Woubrugge in Zuid-Holland. Recente tellingen gaven aan dat zo'n 280 kleine zwanen hier hebben overnacht, te samen met honderden eenden.

Up to 280 Bewick's swans spend the night in a hole in the ice on the Wijde Aa in the province of Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands, together with other waterfowl.

Wonderful footage.
It is not usual for me to observe so many wild swans together, and so much ice on the water; next to it, my filming seems to be done in summer.

Prachtige opname heb jij weer te voorschijn getoverd op je kanaal. Hoe mooi is het toch dat zij allen zo heerlijk bijeen zijn als er een open water is. Want zij zijn met alle watervogels erg slim en weten ook dat als er een stuk open water zal zijn dat zij bijeen moeten blijven om het water open te houden. In wintertijd kan je ook heel goed alle vogels tellen die er aanwezig zijn. Pure vriendschap en natuurliefde zie je in jouw video. Maar ook in de lucht was het een genot om het te zien. Complimenten.
