Calling all sonic sculptors, your tools have arrived. And now it’s time to make new legends. Maestro, the legendary Founder of Effects, is back with an all-new line of pedals - the Maestro Original Collection - that are designed to help you Shape Your Sound.

In this video, Maestro’s Dinesh Lekhraj takes a look at and demonstrates the all-new Maestro Invader Distortion. Venturing into super hi-gain territories, the Invader is a high gain modern distortion with an aggressive sonic character. Having the ability to obtain a wide variety of distorted tones ranging from British crunch, metal, modern metal, and pushing into big thick fuzz inspired realms. If you are looking for a versatile easy to dial-in hi-gain distortion pedal that will push through the mix, has aggressive articulation, and an onboard noise gate to keep things quiet whether you are using humbuckers or single coils, this is the box for you.

The Invader Distortion is part of the Maestro Original Collection. This line of five new pedals is designed, voiced, and styled for the musician who is looking to shape their own unique sound. A tribute to the sound and style of the brand’s much-beloved classic models from the 60s and 70s, with modern features, expanded versatility, and advanced tone-tweaking capabilities.

I'm thrilled that Gibson now has amps and pedals. The new pedals are gorgeous, very reminiscent of the 60s style and are both sturdy and functional in their design. The price isn't bad but a major rival is also releasing new pedals with similar functionality.l but at a much lower price. Their demos are not up yet but this is going to be a big showdown. I hope they both sell well, particularly Gibson. I want them to re-issue the Lab amps in some form 🙃

I can’t believe being from Gibson these are actually affordable. I’m sure though if they had named them Gibson pedals they would probably be like $399 each! Lol!

Nothing against the pedals but these videos are like 90s late night infomercials.

Is this the same company that developed Echoplexes (Ep-1, Ep-2 & Ep-3 Tape delay)? if so, I'm in!

Now for the million dollar question: What country is it manufactured at?

I like the idea of a built in noise gate but I don't know, sounds fizzy

The threshold pot should have been accessible through a hole in the back or something, just so you don't have to take the pedal apart to get at it. Just me though.

Sounds like a beefed up DS1 to me. Nothing new or unique. But the price seems fair love wedge style pedals.

Dunlop Rules the vintage reissue pedal business they have for decades and they own majority of the rights to these vintage pedals
