Counting Stars - OneRepublic (violin/cello/bass cover) Simply Three

Let’s face it - OneRepublic is a great band. If you don’t know who they are, you definitely know their songs. It was this band that inspired Zack to start studying pop music. All of us are classically trained, and we grew up listening to all kinds of music. But classical music took the majority of our time. It wasn’t until we were older that we started to study pop music and what makes it popular. OneRepublic’s songs are all so catchy, and Counting Stars especially struck a chord 😏 with us. It was our first video that we filmed outside of Arizona. We were in New York for a performance, so we thought, "We have to take advantage of this and shoot a video in New York City!" It was a really fun day going around that great city. Hope you guys enjoy, and thanks for listening!

You guys have made me realize these string instruments can be much more than just for classical music. Ive always loved the cello but everyone says not to play it unless i like classical music, and I do but thats not the only genre of music i would like to play. But because of you guys stepping outside of the social norm and creating another perspective, you've opened up all new possibilities for string instruments. I will begin learning cello in the next 2 weeks and its all thanks to you guys !! Never stop doing what you're doing, continue to be an inspiration to the future generations to come !!! I remember my English teacher during class playing music for us so we could focus on what we're doing, then when this came on I immediately recognized and also started to hum it, though the only think of during this song was those "Pilots last words before crashing" shorts.
