if you want to create a model pattern just open the pat file with the notes and add ;%TYPE=MODEL on the second line of the content, a model pattern keeps the scale to real proportions. revit is so absurdly complicated sometimes., , I'm defitively thinking on starting to learn archicad instead

Microstation was easy for doing hatch patterns. Equivalent to using Autocad Array.
