aliexpress is great for cheap stuff like LED strips and general asthetics, and of course hardware too but i prefer to use other sites

I’ve bought a ton of Ryzen 3000/5000 chips, including 2x 5700X CPUs, zero issues with anything. I’ve only had 2 bad gadget, a X99 board that kicked me from games and a WiFi card that was DOA. I returned with zero hassle.

Btw, Cpus are the least risky hardware component to buy on aliexpress because they are easier to not mess up the manufacturing process

People definitely need to remember the marketplace part. I've seen lots of people buy something faulty from Amazon, and then blame Amazon instead of the seller.

The hardest thing to buy from aliexpress is storage drives. Most of the time they are not real size (sdcard, external drives, etc)

Got most the parts for my kids pc build off ali express. The mobo was second hand from facebook, the cpu was second hand from a prebuilt i had bought years ago. Bought the ram, aio, fans, fan hub all from ali express.

The KILLSRE brand ram is working well. Was a good option to help out my all white build without breaking the budget.

I can recommend the Aigo Z12 fans. They are available in black and white and more importantly, in normal and reverse. Which is especially important with fish tank cases. They come with daisy chained pwm and argb, so even no need for a hub. And cost 4€ or even less.

Here in the UK I can't read comments for Aliexpress, only have the sales to gauge if its good or not. So I don't think i want to use it.
