Haven't tried GFORCE synths yet? You SHOULD! (AXXESS review with extras)

Helllooo, my very dear Internetians! We're back to some synths again :) After tweaking Arturia V Colection X, I turned my eyes on another French company: GForce. I knew they existed, I never tried anything they did. It's time to change it today. Enjoy!

Nays vid man, the fun was infectious! I have to say that G Force do come up on my radar from time to time, I just never had the right inspiration to have a deeper look. They do sound real good over the net and that LFO/ADSR per parameter function made my ears lift up. I don't have a poly Moog and that Minimonsta is looking and sounding a treat. Just seen that they have a 50% off sale at the moment, oh boy ...

The original Axxe was my first synth. Bought it in 1978. I bought a second one in the 80s to CV to the first one and to be controlled with an ARP Sequencer. So I had to get this GForce one (already had the Oddity from back when it was first put out, it's updated to v3 now of course). I can't give an opinion on how the Axxess compares to the hardware versions (both of mine need work and are currently in storage). However, GForce added a lot of stuff like advanced modulation, effects, and polyphony. So this soft synth doesn't sound a lot like what I used to get out of the Axxe because the presets take advantage of all the extras. What I can say, is it sounds very good. It's also really easy to use.

Worth noting is that GForce has (so far) released two free preset packs for the Axxess already, as part of their Christmas special. 40 presets each.

The hardware Axxe used to be my favourite mono synth. Does a superb explosion sound amongst other attributes.

Excellent feature. GForce nailed these emulations back in the 2000s. The GUIs were behind the times but that’s not the case anymore. Definitely one of the best in the business!

G-force is awesome 👌 Minimonsta was one of the first great sounding Vst instruments I aquired when I started teaching myself how to produce electronic music in 2005. Still gets used to this day 🙏

Hi Paul discovered Gforce along time ago I would say 15 years now and they are going from strength to strength I had original VSM virtual string machine, Mtron pro and minimonsta 1, impOscar
I would say they are the best at emulations with cherry audio second and auturia third but for me they are way ahead of both of those companies for some of the reasons you mentioned
I would check out the rest of there stuff too it’s good

There is no other plugin that sounds like it! its a Unique beauty!
