Not a fan of the suit either but I think James Gunn is gonna do good with this. I've been a long time supporter of Henry Cavill and the Synderverse, but am always a Superman fan no matter what. I hope this is one the whole fan base can get behind.

I usually agree with you on most of your takes but I really like the suit.

I think the Boys comparison is apt.

To argue against the "same old story" argument. This is not a world that's ours and "what if Superman came into it". This is a story of "oh yeah, we're crowded with superheroes, what makes you so special". That's gonna be the major key difference. And from a story perspective and interesting challenge to see Superman prove himself and highlight his uniqueness. "Too many characters". Again, it's window dressing to the world established. Like cops in 1978 or Spider-man 2002. A world of heroes. This will be a Superman story I am absolutely certain.

I just don’t see how Tyrone thinks the suit is trash but to each their own. Still think this is another movie that will be added to the list of great Superman films/media I think we’re in for a treat and hopefully it’s worth the wait.

The suit looks like thick canvas with thick canvas strips running outside. It's so thick you can't see a muscle tone at all. Thick creases like a jacket. I don't understand why make a Huge change, just to separate it from previous superman suits. Bad idea 💡" it was a bad call Ripley...it was a bad call...
