Dave A was a fucking monster on the drums. I've been listening to Pearl Jam since 1991 and they have never sounded as alive and as good as they did when he was in the band in my humble opinion. He brought a ridiculously good groove and replicated Dave Krusen's drums perfectly. I've seen them with all their drummers from Dave A on and he is by far the best. Matt is a beast too but he's Soundgarden's drummer if you get my meaning... ✌️❤️

Many of us saw these performances back then and were just shook. It was just different. The best. Angry Eddie, Dave A just crushing, Jeff ping ponging around, Stone doing the pelican thing and Mike just shredding. Good times.

Even though Dave isn't in the band and hasn't been for a long time it must feel great that 90% of all comments for most PJ videos are about him and that he was and will be the best PJ drummer all time, I'm sure as hell miss him in the band ❤
