10-14t excavator rake tines, in Hardox® 450 alloy steel. Why?

The unsupported length, from the round tie rod hole is more than half the tine length. So your rake will penetrate the ground as far as possible, not just scratch the surface.

This is only possible because, for the same gauge or thickness, Hardox® 450 has over 3 times higher yield strength than even high grade S355 mild steel. So it won't flex or permanently deform.

It's also more than 3 times harder, so even in rocky ground, it will not wear as fast.

This is why you need to insist on Hardox® and accept no substitutes.
