It is because some reasons
(1) In sahara desert sand mixed with clouds
(2) red coloured alge mixed with clouds
(3) green coloured alge mixed with clouds and stressed and release red colour
These reasons cause blood rain .

I cannot understand how this baffles scientists. Water is only Hydrogen and Oxygen. So testing the water for anything but would tell or am I WAY off?

Investigation established that the color was caused by spores from a fungus common in the area. I read that there was a pretty good Malayalam sci fi movie about the phenomenon made in the 2010s. Maybe somebody will put it on YouTube.

i guess its the desert sand called "blood rains " which have blown for thousands of kilometres from the sahara and all!

Apparently it's just spores from some type of fungi that is common in the area, nothing magical about it

This is Sirocco, they originate from sahara desert and due to Mediterranean sea wind picks up moisture n give rainfall

we have same thing in Turkey . Spring time dust from sahara desert mix with rain and make red rain or mud rain . It s amazing natural fertilizer rich with iron and potassium

QUESTION: How long has this been happening and if it's been happening for a while the news about it hasn't hit any public broadcasts. from my understanding it's happened around 2012 or so and 2021. Almost like the situation of all the thousands of cows that just up and died they say attributed from the heat. But than there hasn't been any news stories like this in many many years now it's all the sudden ?
