Does Buc-ee’s really have Bohemian Garlic beef jerky?

They do. And it’s magnifico.

That’s not my real lede. I just am enamored of the idea of Bohemian garlic. What makes the garlic Bohemian? No idea. It must be socially unconventional.

It’s rebel garlic, operating outside the bounds of polite society, and it’s one of the best snacks at Buc-ee’s.

So now, here’s my real lede.

Indeed, we have become a Buc-ee’s family.

For a long time, we’d heard whispers and have been Buc-ee’s curious.

Now, on multiple road trips to Florida and Alabama, we’ve been able to really soak in the Buc-ee’s travel center experience in multiple locations and can confirm it’s one of the best places to stop on a trip.

We are completely smitten with the ever-expanding Texas chain of gas stations.

My family and went to a family reunion in Lumberton, North Carolina this weekend. So, we drove to Florence, South Carolina to that Buc-ee and I loved it. The best thing was chop brisket, cinnamon rolls, the sausage on the stick was pretty good and the peans. I really didn't care too much about the beaver nuggets. I hope they build a Buc-ee near me :)

I live near one .. their bakery has great pies like apple Carmel
The pork tenderloin cheese tray is good & their jerky is awesome
Early in the am - breakfast tacos are very good

GF is from Texas and we live in Michigan. I've had super fresh jerky, especially venison jerky which is my favorite. But when me and her drove down there and I got some Bucees jerky, it was phenomenal. To this day I think about that spicy jerky I got. I wish I remembered the name because I'll definitely get that next time I'm down there.

Be thankful when you get a GOOD fresh chunk of fudge! Recently we stopped at a Buc-ees in Alabama and purchased from the counter so we could pick the flavors we like. The staff packing up the fudge failed to wrap each piece individually as in the box sets. Most of the fudge tasted old and dried out. Buc-ees apparently doesn't respond to consumer complaints and so far, they haven't responded to mine. They have an 'F' rating with the BBB and now I know why.

When I went I got the pulled pork, and it was good. Solid 7.5/10, definitely gonna try the brisket next time.
And had the deer sausage, packed with flavor.
Had some of the chips, and cinnamon roll, they were good. 8.5/10, definitely wanting to try the brisket next time and try maybe the Mexican stuff too.
Mom got some beaver nuggets and she loves them.
