Another great way if you don’t have the bomb fruit is to use Riju’s power. It takes a little bit longer but it worked for me! I always run out of bomb fruit and it was the one way that worked for me. I hope it works for you too!

If you wanna save a arrow, you can easily dodge its jump by sneaking away. It doesn’t seem like you even need sneaky gear, just get the moldings to hear you and crouch jump away.

i think its easier to simply get on a pillar, shoot an arrow to get its attention, let it jump, then use a 5x shot lynel bow and some gibdo bones. they are both relatively easy to get and it shreds molduga super fast

Just in case someone else watches this, its STOMACH is it's weak point, not it's face/eye. If they had been slashing at its stomach instead of its face the fight wouldve been over much much sooner

One other way to get it to jump without getting chomped on is to use the Yiga Clan's earthwake ability you get from infiltrating and training with them. Though compared to this method the only benefit is some chip damage and a few less arrows wasted.

doesn't need to be an arrow just use a material to lure the molduga and then shoot its belly. And then when it's stunned u could use yunobo to charge its head and that attack its belly not its head as that is its weak spot

You actually don't need a safe spot, you just need to crouch and shoot arrows to drag the molduga attention

I tried time bombs. They sit for a minute and the dummy swims over and swallows it up. Watch him jump in the air and then explode. Walk over, beat his head in. Ta-da!

I used a bomb flower every time it jumped up, and then used a Zonai canon fused to a spear to shoot straight at it when it was laying on the sand. Worked like a charm.

Save your arrows. Just throw anything at the ground and get the same effect. I used Shock Fruit just cause but I’m sure any item that’s tossed will get it’s attention.
