This is a quick overview of my install of the LCE Performance 160 Amp Alternator on my 5VZ 2001 4Runner. I also did the big three wiring upgrade for my dual battery setup.

Hey man! Digging the NC State hoodie! I am in the Clayton area, near raleigh. 3rd gen guy here too- was just researching this LCE alternator and ran across your video, as they seem much more reliable than the CS144 options out there

Thanks for the video! I ended up grabbing one for my 3rd Gen... a few questions: Since the pulley is smaller on the LCE Alternator, did you have any trouble tensioning the belt (was there enough play to do so?) Swap the belt out too, or no?
