As a health care provider, it is very rare to die so fast from colon cancer unless it was ignored or misdiagnosed as it metastasized to the liver and other parts of the body. She had to have some symptoms as the disease progressed. Did her Scientology have anything to do with So sad as I loved her in Cheers.

Younger people are getting it at much higher rates now & dying from it. After Chadwick Boseman passed from it, I asked my dr to order a colonoscopy. He refused stating I was too young & didn’t have a family history. He even refused to order thé at home test kit that requires a prescription. It shouldn’t be up to a dr to determine if you want to get tested for something.

If anyone reading this is worried about getting a colonoscopy. Please don’t! It’s nothing. Yeah there’s a day of prep that kind of sucks, but once it’s over and done with you will probably have a chuckle about the whole thing. The colonoscopy itself is also nothing. You don’t even know they are doing it. Quite frankly, I wish I hadn’t have even spent a second worrying about it, because that was a waste of time right there.

My family physician told me that colon cancer is the most treatable form of cancer when caught early enough. I had been putting off getting a colonoscopy for years for anxiety reasons and wanting to put my head in the sand, even though I am at risk through family history. Yes, it's an unpleasant process but worth the peace of mind.

The saddest thing of all is Kirsty likely ignored her symptoms for a long time After my grandmother finally addressed her symptoms and learned she had less than a year to live with a colostomy in 1968 she told me she hadn't felt well for around 5 years. It's often times due to a diet lacking fiber. Please take care so it doesn't happen to you. I've had polyps removed once at 69. Piece of cake.

Kirstie was one of the most classy beauties ever of classic television and film. Those eyes are so hypnotic and captivating. Love her iconic legendary voice and comedic humour/ wit. My condolences go out to her two sons, rest of her family and friends. It’s sad to know she was living in Clearwater because that means she knew she had cancer earlier and was doing auditing through Scientology to get rid of the cancer. Please please if you are a Scientologist do not wait. Believe what you choose but go to a doctor. Even if your OT8 because we all know there is nothing higher and only a doctor can get rid of your cancer. She didn’t have to die from this. And she should have gone to a doctor before the end. Just like Kelly Preston should have. But she didn’t. Because your basically told you can but you can’t. But you can. But…… auditing? It doesn’t work. Please be safe.
