A derivative of Strandbeest - Humanoid version

I modified the basic structure of Theo Jansen's mechanism in order to make a shape of human's leg.

I added foot and Achilles, and modified hinge point of driving rod.

If the use of CGI were not fashionable in the cinema, this mechanism would be great to use in puppets. There is nothing more difficult for a puppeteer than to simulate a convincing walk, because the limbs are left swinging like a pendulum. With a remote controlled motor by radio control it would be possible to create interesting puppets.
