Thanks for your reviews. Helpful tip Daphne de Maurier is not proinounced with the ‘r’ at the end. It’s silent. Also for the yarn it’s called Skein pronounced s k ain sounds like stain, but with the k instead of the t.

I just finished the whole ice cream parlor series and I really enjoyed it. Definitely made me crave ice cream and the family is just awesome. Definitely will try more from Abby Collette

I'm glad you had some good books in the midst of some bad ones. The Noodle Shop series is one of my favorites too. I can't wait for the new book. I tried to read the Haunted Library series in February and couldn't get into it. Sadly, since I love library cozies. I've heard a lot about people loving Legends and Lattes and I'm #94 on hold at the library for it. In February, I read the latest book in the Grill Cheese series by Linda Reilly Cheddar Late Than Dead, the first two books in the Ice Cream Shop series by Meri Allen, and a Net Galley ARC of the latest book in the Lakeside Library series by Holly Danvers Read To Death at the Lakeside Library. I enjoyed all of them.

I really enjoy how you review books, and I've added some of these to my future TBR!

A Game of Cones sounds good! Too bad about Checked Out for Murder. Oo, The Woman in the Library would make a good movie, though, wouldn't it? but too bad about the dragging bits. I have heard about our diet and how it affects our jaw and breathing; it's interesting stuff!

I had three hits and one miss for February. My hits were: Murder is Binding by Lorna Barrett, Here Comes the Body by Maria DiRico (aka Ellen Byron), and The Fortieth Birthday Body (in honor of my own big 4-0 last month) by Valerie Wolzien. The big swing and miss for me was Feel the Bern by Andrew Shaffer. I know cozies often require suspension of disbelief, but it was just too much for me.

Thanks for all the reviews 😄on point as always. I may pick up the book about your jaws. I have been a teeth grinder for years and recently purchase a mouth guard and that has really helped the soreness around my jaws. I don't think I have TMJ but I wonder sometimes. Very interesting. Thanks for mentioning these non-fictions from time to time. Helpful! ❣

I add Scottish shire on my tbr🎉🎉🎉. It seems so good. I read fatal fixer-upper in February, which is the 1st in the do-it-yourself mystery. I was 5 star read for me, a little bit of history, vintage style furniture, house styles, decoration style etc. highly recommended ❤

The Woman in the Library was a huge disappointment to me, too! I think I rated it 2 stars on Goodreads. So little depth and negligible mystery. What you said. 😊

My February reading was fairly lackluster with a few exceptions, namely Titanic by David Ross, The Confidante (also Nonfiction) by Christopher Gorham and The Lost English Girl by Julia Kelly, a beautiful Historical Fiction. Usually I choose my books extremely well and therefore have an average Goodreads rating of about 4.2 but not February, unfortunately. From about 23 books I only loved a few. But March is already looking better. Hopefully for you as well!

I enjoy the Haunted Library series but they are hit or miss. I started reading Death by Dumpling and I am loving it! I'm almost done with it. 60 pages roughly left. I want to buy the rest of the series right now!

I started The Woman In The Library twice. Maybe one day.

The Woman in the Library was a let down for me as well. It sounded exactly like something I would love from the description. I almost ended DNF’ing it but I did finish hoping it would get better. It was a very mediocre book for me.

I agree with your review on The Woman in the Library. Didn’t enjoy the storyline.
