MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Race 1 at Brainerd 2023

MotoAmerica's premier race class is Medallia Superbike, and it's where the bikes are fastest, the lap times are lowest, and the talent level in highest. There were two races at Brainerd International Raceway, and here's the complete race one from start to finish.

Great job MotoAmerica and BIR! This year we had a great crowd! BIR also hooked up drag racing and Mud trucks! Kids zone was bigger and near one of the best corners. Also I saw BIR building new permanent facilities!

So Beaubier causes the incident in the first lap because of aggressive riding, but still gets to start on pole at the restart? Meanwhile someone who was innocent is out of the race altogether? Some F'ed up rules MotoAmerica.

@ 30.45 ish she mentions "radiator". My thoughts are perhaps the oil "radiator" or cooler. You know how sketchy the teams are about failures...I remember an old paddock excuse for a bike breaking down "ahh the "ignition failed" not mentioning the reason for failure was a snapped rod etc which "broke" the ignition. Great content again, thanks. 👍
