hi everyone! so now that i've graduated into a global pandemic & didn't get the summer internship i wanted, i've decided to focus on editing again :'))

i've been planning an edit with this track for at least 2 years now. knew it'd be a perfect fit for this movie, so i patiently waited for its release.

I totally loved this movie!!! and I totally recommend it if you want to watch a movie with great animation, also if you are going to watch it, don't expect too much with the movie plot, because it's a little confusing, so if you watch it, just enjoy the art style of the movie. also the climax of the movie is totally Worth it. As someone that loves animation I totally recommend it!!!

I always enjoy your edits because they aren't overdone and don't have too many external transitions and effects like your typical anime fan-edit. Your music choices, in the same vein, just add to the amazing visuals without overpowering them. Those types of edits can also be nice and very well-made, of course, but what you do really allows me to appreciate the beauty of the animation. I just love that.

Just something I wanted to say about this animation. I actually relate to how the characters connect to the ocean as I'm half Torres strait Islander and am lucky enough to go back to for a couple of occasions. Drifting the waves of bright blue sea and grinding my uncle's dingy to a halt to navigate pass coral pathways to reach my home island kubin (otherwise known as moa island) and I cherish any and all forms of media touching up on the ocean.
