Our chocolate Labrador does that with our youngest son who is now 13 and was severely bullied and received death threats from one unhinged boy. His mother did nothing to stop him even when he started threatening me and sent messages saying he would kill me and gut our lab. Our beautiful girl is our once in a lifetime dog. She also helped me get through breast cancer. If she thinks we’re crying she comes immediately. When our son was so anxious and depressed she would go to him and sit with him. She still helps him and sleeping with him has helped his nightmares. She’s part of the reason he’s doing so well. Dogs are amazing. Nala is such a special dog and your bond is beautiful.
